Roof Insulation and Membrane Installation Guidance
Review the different installation considerations for polyester blankets, reflective foil and condensation membranes.
Polyester blankets
Maintain the specified thickness, minimise gaps and avoid unnecessary compression. Fit around structural members carefully and preserve required ventilation.
Follow applicable instructions around electrical installations, recessed lights, chimneys, flues and other heat sources. Complex roof spaces should be assessed by an experienced installer or building professional.

Reflective foil
Use the specified Enviro-Tuff grade and the air spaces required by its documentation and the roof design. Reflective performance depends on the arrangement. Consider moisture, salts and corrosive exposure; not every laminate has the same construction or requirements.
Dripstop Original and DIY
Original is applied during sheet manufacture. DIY requires suitable existing roofing, substrate conditions and access. Both need ventilation and drying between condensation cycles. Use the selected format’s instructions rather than a general insulation method.
The video shows membrane application on supplier equipment for new roof sheets. It does not demonstrate DIY fitting beneath an existing roof.
